The British Association of Removers (BAR) -The British Association of Removers is the largest and most recognized industry association in the U.K. The association sets out rigorous standards of customer care for its members. This ’Code of practice' is the only code in the moving industry that’s approved and monitored by the British Office of Fair Trading under its Consumer Codes Approval Scheme. All 500+ BAR members are expected to abide by the code.
Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) – Canada’s Trade Association for movers.
Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC) – Provides leadership, services and assistance to over 500 members in Canada, the United States and throughout the world, enabling them to effectively serve relocating families by addressing issues that impact workforce mobility both domestically and internationally.
Canadian Self Storage Association – the Canadian national trade association for self storage owners and vendors.
International Association of Movers (IAM) - a global association of forwarders and movers based in the United States with membership of over 2,000 companies from more than 165 countries and territories. Prior to January 1, 2009, the IAM was known as the Household Hold Goods Forwarders Association of America (HHGFAA).
Federation of European Movers Associations (FEDEMAC) – FEDEMAC represents the interests, concerns and needs of around 4.000 professional moving companies and industry associations in 24 European countries. FEDEMAC co-ordinates national activities with European impact.
Federation of European Self Storage Associations (FEDESSA) – is the European Trade Association representing the ever-growing Self Storage industry throughout Europe.
FIDI Global Alliance- FIDI is the largest global alliance of independent quality international removal companies.
International Air Transport Association (IATA) – IATA is its global trade organization of the international air transport industry.
Latin American and Caribbean International Movers Association (LACMA) – LACMA is an association comprised of Latin American and Caribbean international movers, accounting for over 90 percent of the moves to and from this region.
Pan American International Movers Association (PAIMA) – represents over 150 international moving companies in Canada, the United States, South America, Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Australia, Middle East & Far East.
Self Storage Association of Australasia – represents over 1,000 facilities across Australia and New Zealand, representing approximately 90% of the storage space in the region. This includes all the major multi-site storage operators as well as most of the independent sites.
Self Storage Association of the United Kingdom (SSA UK)- represent the interests not only of the large multi-site operators but also the smaller, independent and often single-site operators in the U.K. SSA UK is a founder member of the Federation of European Self Storage Associations (FEDESSA) with whom it has close links.
