Mayflower Transit’s ‘classic’ ship is now a schooner
By Eric Anders • May 18th, 2010 • Category: Household Goods, Mayflower Transit LLC, WHAT'S NEW
For years Mayflower Transit proudly boasted about being “the most recognized name in moving” because of it's nationally trademarked ship logo, distinctive patented lettering, and easily recognized vivid green, red, and yellow billboard paint design which became the hallmark of all their over-the-road equipment.
But, alas, no more! The ship has been re-outfitted. The new logo is simpler, sleeker, and more modern.
This contemporary look is being used to introduce the new Mayflower Transit, LLC. at the company's website at http://www.mayflower.com/, in their collateral material and advertising, as part of their rejuvinated do-it-yourself container moving product, and, especially, in their brand new TV spots.
To see how the modernized look and advertising campaign will show up on the street, check out some of the pictures of company vans and straight trucks decked out in the new scheme at the Mayflower Moving Facebook page.
Mayflower's marketing department hired Grey Advertising of New York to produce several new television commercials that can be viewed at the company's YouTube channel to introduce the new logo to the moving public and kick off the company's more aggressive advertising campaign.
