By • Feb 6th, 2010 • Category: *RELOCATION NEWS UPDATES*

Bay Net News, a media company serving Calvert, St. Mary's and Charles Counties in southern Maryland, reported the collapse of a warehouse operated by Quality Transfer and Storage in Lexington Park, Maryland at around 9:40 a.m., on Saturday, February 6, 2010.

The extensive damage was likely caused by the weight of heavy snow and high winds that have resulted from the massive winter storm pounding the east coast.  Some areas of the state have seen accumulations of up to 30" of snow since the storm began on Friday.

The building was not occupied due to the extraordinary weather conditions at the time of the collapse.  No injuries were reported.
