Cartus acquires rival Primacy Relocation

Well … the information that's been rumored for weeks has finally been confirmed.

Realogy Corporation, a leading global provider of real estate and relocation services, has announced that Cartus Corporation, its relocation services subsidiary based in Connecticut, has acquired Primacy Relocation, the prominent relocation and global assignment management services company located in Memphis, Tennessee.

According to gossip heard on the street, this is but one of several consolidations in the relocation and mobility services industry that's been in the works since last year. Expect to hear more news of similar acquisitions before Spring.
