Welcome
By Eric Anders • Nov 24th, 2008 • Category: WELCOMEWhether it’s across the street or around the globe, the process of 'moving' in today’s topsy-turvy world can be an intensely personal, highly emotional, and psychologically upsetting experience.
Unfortunately most naive buyers searching for useful, pertinent information don’t know what “deliverables” they should be looking for…, or standards they should be using to determine the value that they’re seeking when selecting a vendor.
By definition, the process of ‘moving’ has always conveyed change – either a physical transfer of motion or action, or an emotional response.
The physical part use to be simple. Stuff was picked up in one place, transported and then dropped in a new location. As the marketplace as expanded and the number of personal choices have increased, the psychological part is now a bit more complicated.
Today 80% of those considering a relocation use the power and “always on, always open” convenience of the web to look for product or service information. Many are invariably frustrated because of the lack of easy to locate, pertinent facts. Currently an inexperienced shopper who enters a general search query like ‘moving’ or ‘storage’ company in their favorite browser will be presented with a gazillion irrelevant choices – and usually there aren’t even any licensed motor carriers or local service providers on the first page.
In this type of environment, moving simply becomes a commodity…and the online marketplace becomes an unsafe media outlet where gullible consumers become easy prey to the aggressive Web vultures who pitch low, low prices while still promising great professional service.
RELORoundtable is a free resource designed to help both newbies and pros find answers to their relocation related questions. The easy-to-read magazine format will offer the most current news you can use – relevant information to increase your relocation product knowledge to help make good choices.
Aristotle once observed that "the soul never thinks without a picture." This site is my canvas. Regardless of whether you stumbled across this place lookin' for answers; or you simply have somethin' to share, I hope that you'll pick up a brush and help me work on my project.
Come on in and take a look around!
